Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector has a need for an Electrical Engineer at its Integrated Mission Solutions (IMS) organization in Warner Robins, GA. This role focuses on systems and design engineering, offering opportunities to impact the product and mission through rapid prototyping, integration, testing, and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Electrical or Biomedical Engineering; Master’s degree meets experience requirements.
• Experience developing detailed test plans and procedures for hardware.
• Experience in schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection.
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, generators, and power supplies.
• Strong written and verbal communication; clear technical documents.
• Must hold or obtain U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and test CCAs and other electronic assemblies.
• Perform schematic capture, layout, BOM generation with Altium, Mentor, Cadence.
• Work with embedded software/firmware teams to define interfaces and timing.
• Capture and update system and subsystem requirements.
