Job summary

Hydro is seeking an Electrical Engineer for CAPEX projects and power distribution in our Cressona, PA facility. You will lead electrical design reviews, manage installations, and troubleshoot industrial power systems, including 480V infrastructure.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years in manufacturing, plus experience managing capital projects and coordinating with vendors. This is a permanent, on-site position in the Hydro Engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years in a manufacturing electrical engineering role.
• Experience reviewing and optimizing electrical designs for industrial equipment and systems.
• Experience managing million-dollar capital projects and coordinating with suppliers/contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the power distribution and electrical design for CAPEX projects from scope to execution.
• Review and approve electrical designs for new and existing equipment; manage installations and startups.
• Collaborate with internal/external engineers, equipment suppliers, and contractors to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget project delivery.
• Perform engineering calculations, equipment selection, design and drawing management, and failure analysis as needed.
• Ensure equipment/process safety and implement improvements to reliability and efficiency.
