APOLIS is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support modifications, upgrades, and project work for existing hydroelectric plants in Rancho Cordova, CA. The role demands strong hydroelectric industry knowledge and proficiency with electrical codes and standards.

The candidate will design and analyze electrical systems, coordinate with internal and external teams, and ensure delivery of high-quality engineering deliverables onsite five days a week. PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• 5+ years of hydroelectric/hydro plant engineering experience.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70 (NEC) and the California Electrical Code.
• Experience with Bluebeam.
• Knowledge of SKM or ETAP a plus.
• PE License preferred.
• Onsite work 5 days/week in Rancho Cordova, CA.

Responsabilités

• Develop and modify electrical engineering designs, calculations, drawings, and technical deliverables.
• Support modifications and upgrades to existing hydroelectric generating plants.
• Perform complex engineering analysis and provide technical recommendations.
• Apply applicable engineering codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external engineering teams.
• Review engineering work and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
• Support project schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
