Job summary

Stillpoint AEC seeks an Electrical Engineer with current experience designing electrical systems for buildings within an MEP/AEC environment. You will contribute to power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and electrical infrastructure while coordinating with architectural and mechanical teams.

The role offers hybrid or onsite work opportunities and a clear path toward ownership of technically challenging projects; PE licensure support and ongoing professional development are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Current electrical building systems design experience in an MEP/AEC environment.
• Experience with power distribution, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm, and related systems.
• PE licensure preferred; EIT candidates progressing toward PE will be considered.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM PowerTools, EasyPower, AGi32, Visual Lighting or similar software.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA standards, energy codes, and building codes.
• Experience preparing electrical calculations, plans, specifications, and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm.
• Perform electrical load calculations, voltage drop, short-circuit studies, and sizing.
• Develop power distribution systems, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, lighting layouts.
• Prepare calculations, reports, plans, specs, and construction documents.
• Coordinate electrical with architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and other disciplines.
• Support projects through schematic design to construction administration.
