Job summary
Stillpoint AEC in Austin, TX is seeking an Electrical Engineer with current experience designing electrical systems for buildings within an MEP consulting environment. Responsibilities and project leadership will align with your technical expertise and experience level.
You will design power distribution, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm, and related electrical systems, perform load calculations, develop drawings, and coordinate with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines while
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Current electrical building systems design experience in MEP/AEC.
- PE licensure preferred; EIT candidates considered.
- Experience with NEC/NFPA and energy codes.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm.
- Prepare calculations, single-line diagrams, layouts, and equipment specs.
- Coordinate with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines.
- Support schematic design through construction documentation and permitting.
