Acron Aviation is seeking a Specialist Electrical Engineer for the Surveillance product line to advance TCAS and transponder radio development. You will collaborate with mechanical, RF, firmware, and software teams to translate requirements into robust avionics solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering required.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in electrical hardware design (aerospace preferred).
• Hands-on experience with avionics, RF, or sensor-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, integrate, and qualify digital, analog, and power circuitry with RF for avionics.
• Design circuits with microprocessors, memory, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, PCIe and other interfaces.
• Generate and review electrical schematics; support PCB layout in Altium.
• Develop design documentation including HRDs, HDDs, HCIAs; support certification artifacts.
• Design across levels from individual circuits to aircraft system architectures.
• Use tools for power distribution analysis and related simulations.
• Participate in proposal activities: task estimation, risk identification, planning.
• Interface with customers to understand challenges and develop actionable solutions.
