Job summary

New York City Department of Environmental Protection seeks two Electrical Engineers Level 1 as Accountable Managers for the Wastewater Capital Program across the city. You will oversee design and construction of WRRF and pump-station projects, focusing on safety, scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with multiple bureaus.

Permanent civil service status is required; you will monitor KPIs, lead staff, and ensure contract compliance as you drive critical infrastructure delivery for NYC’s

Qualifications

• Four years of full-time, satisfactory experience in electrical engineering.
• New York State Professional Engineer license required; master’s degree may substitute for one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support the design and construction of WWCP projects for WRRFs and city pump stations.
• Ensure Environmental Health & Safety is integrated throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with BEDC, BWT, BWS and other bureaus, agencies and stakeholders.
