Job summary

CSAT Solutions LP seeks an Electrical Engineer for AI server repair to diagnose, repair, and improve high-performance computing hardware including AI servers and GPU platforms.

You will lead cross-functional investigations, develop robust test procedures, and drive corrective actions while mentoring technicians and supporting NPI activities. Strong CAD, schematic, and test automation skills are desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in electronics manufacturing, server repair, or high-tech service ops.
• Experience with NPI, validation, and production readiness activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering support for diagnosis, failure analysis, repair testing, and continuous improvement of AI servers and related hardware.
• Lead engineering projects to identify electrical and hardware design issues and implement containment and corrective actions.
• Develop advanced failure analysis at system-board and component levels and determine root causes.
• Analyze schematics, PCB layouts, component specs, and test results to isolate hardware failures.
• Lead CAPA, FMEA, DOE, and other structured problem-solving activities.
• Develop training materials and troubleshooting guides for AI servers and repair technologies.
• Support audits, engineering reviews, and technical escalations; collaborate with customers and suppliers.

Role and Responsibilities

Provide electrical engineering expertise supporting the diagnosis failure analysis repair testing and continuous improvement of AI servers GPU platforms server motherboards power systems networking hardware storage systems and other high performance computing equipmentLead engineering projects to identify electrical and hardware design issues in customer products and partner with customers and OEM engineering teams to implement containment corrective and preventive actionsDevelop and perform advanced electrical troubleshooting and failure analysis at the system board and component levels to identify root causes of intermittent complex and repeat failuresAnalyze schematics PCB layouts circuit designs component specifications test results firmware interactions and electrical measurements to isolate hardware failuresDevelop and maintain closed loop failure analysis and knowledge management processes that capture repair findings and translate them into improved diagnostics repair procedures and technician capabilitiesLead investigations of pervasive or difficult to diagnose hardware issues and provide technical recommendations to Operations Quality Engineering and customer teamsDevelop and maintain engineering training materials and technical troubleshooting guides for new AI server platforms hardware revisions diagnostic methods and repair technologiesSupport New Product Introduction NPI activities by evaluating repairability test coverage diagnostics tooling component availability technical documentation and technician training requirementsDirect and provide technical guidance to engineering technicians and other support personnel performing analysis testing prototyping validation and troubleshooting activitiesSupport corrective and preventive action CAPA Failure Mode and Effects Analysis FMEA Design of Experiments DOE and other structured problem solving activitiesIdentify opportunities for automation improved test coverage predictive diagnostics and data driven troubleshooting to improve repair quality and operational efficiencySupport customer audits engineering reviews quality investigations and technical escalationsPerform other engineering projects and duties as assigned

Education Training and Skills

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Electronics Engineering or a related technical discipline required; Masters degree preferredMinimum five 5 years of engineering experience supporting electronics manufacturing server repair OEM manufacturing or high technology service operations 2 3 years of AI server experience strongly preferredExperience supporting AI servers GPU platforms enterprise computing hardware networking equipment or data center infrastructure strongly preferredDemonstrated experience leading New Product Introduction NPI engineering validation and production readiness activitiesStrong knowledge of component level troubleshooting electronic diagnostics digital and analog circuit analysis power systems firmware and embedded hardware preferredExperience developing automated test systems diagnostic tools repair procedures and manufacturing process controlsProven expertise in root cause analysis corrective and preventive actions CAPA Failure Mode and Effects Analysis FMEA statistical process control SPC and reliability engineeringLean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent continuous improvement certification preferredStrong understanding of engineering drawings schematics PCB layouts bills of materials BOMs specifications and engineering change management processesExperience managing engineering capital projects budgets and resource planningAdvanced analytical technical writing and project management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook Project and Visio; experience with ERP PLM MES and engineering data management systems preferredExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interface effectively with customers suppliers and executive leadershipDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced high growth technical environment with minimal supervision
