Job summary

Pacifico Energy is seeking an Electrical Engineer to govern the electrical design for Cedar Creek, covering generators, medium and low voltage distribution, protection, and the electrical balance of plant.

You will review design deliverables, perform protection coordination and short-circuit studies, examine load-flow and stability analyses, and respond to field queries. Collaboration with the site team is essential to keep the project on schedule.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in power plants or utility-scale projects.
• Hands-on experience with generator connection and protection system design.
• Working knowledge of IEEE and NFPA 70 standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.

Cedar Creek is a 1,100 MW simple-cycle gas turbine power project built under a lump-sum EPC contract. As Electrical Engineer you govern the electrical design on the owner’s behalf: generators, medium and low voltage distribution, protection, and the electrical balance of plant.
