Job summary

CapstoneONE Search is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, install, and troubleshoot high‑voltage electrical systems in a heavy industrial setting. You will develop wiring diagrams and control documentation using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and related tools.

Responsibilities include PLC programming with RSLogix/Studio 5000, HMI/SCADA support (Wonderware, iFIX), and robotic system troubleshooting. A BS in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Strong experience with high-voltage electrical systems and industrial power distribution.
• Experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Support design, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of high-voltage electrical systems and industrial power distribution equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical distribution systems, transformers, switchgear, motor control centers, circuit protection, and related equipment.
• Develop and maintain electrical drawings, schematics, one-line diagrams, and control documentation using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Support electrical projects involving facility power distribution, equipment installations, machine upgrades, and system modifications.
• Troubleshoot and support PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, industrial controls, and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs using RSLogix and Studio 5000.
• Support HMI, SCADA, and controls systems, including Wonderware and iFIX.
• Troubleshoot industrial robots, including Motoman or similar robotic systems.
• Apply NEC, NFPA 70E, and NFPA 79 knowledge when designing, modifying, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
