Job summary

Dürr is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical/Controls Engineer to design and develop industrial control systems, including hardware and software. You will generate drawings, bill of equipment, PLC/code, and GUI code from reference projects, and oversee fabrication, testing, and on-site startup.

The role requires a BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, 3 years of related experience, and proficiency in NEC codes, PLC programming, and instrumentation. Travel about 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 3 years of position-related experience.
• Experience with electrical engineering design for industrial controls and panels.
• Able to interpret NEC and local codes.
• Familiar with PLC programming, graphic user interface programming, computer operating systems, and networking.
• Familiar with instrumentation and process control.
• Familiar with robotic cell designs.
• Familiar with hazardous area classifications.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
• Ability to understand project schedules.
• Good time management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work well independently and in a team environment.
