Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a skilled engineer to research, design, and develop system-level mixed mode models for functional subsystems within custom ASICs. You will run simulations to identify flaws and drive corrective actions, and manage the entire tape-out and fabrication cycle with post-silicon validation using RF test equipment.

The role requires a Masters degree with 3+ years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years, and up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Masters degree + 3 years experience or Bachelors degree with + 5 years experience.
• Experience in system-level mixed mode models for custom ASICs.
• Experience with RF test and measurement equipment (signal analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes).

Job Description

Run simulations using the models and interpreting the results to identify flaws or errors in the system implementation and identify corrective actions. Manage the full circuit design tape-out and fabrication cycle, followed by comprehensive post-silicon validation and characterization utilizing advanced RF test and measurement equipment (e.g., signal analyzers, network analyzers, and oscilloscopes).

Basic Requirements

Travel Requirements

Up to 10% domestic and international travel.
