Job summary

Jobtailor in Texas seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead design and specification of LV/MV systems for large industrial projects. You will guide electrical design deliverables, coordinate with disciplines, and ensure project goals are met.

You must have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years' experience with substations, EIT licensure, and a PE by exam is a plus but not required. Knowledge of NEC/API standards is essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years' experience preferred; substation experience.
• EIT licensure required; P.E. by exam preferred not required.
• Experience in specification of LV and MV transformers, switchgear, motor controls, and VFDs.
• Experience in analysis of industrial power systems using SKM tools or equivalent modeling software is required.
• Must be familiar with the National Electrical Code and API standards, including sections relevant to electrical installations in hazardous locations and in the classification of hazardous areas.
