Job summary

Vantage Consulting in Raleigh, NC, seeks an Electrical Engineer to help shape sustainable, intelligent building design. This role targets candidates with 4+ years’ experience in the AEC industry and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

You will lead design and MEP-T tasks, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, perform calculations and documentation, and mentor junior staff. Salary ranges from $80,000 to $120,000 DOE, with seniors also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Licensure preferred (EIT, PE, CPD, FPE, RCDD, etc.).
• 4+ years of engineering experience in the AEC industry.
• Proficiency in Revit and industry-specific modeling/calculation software; strong knowledge of building codes and design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design & implementation: independently execute engineering tasks and lead the MEP-T design for small-to-medium projects.
• Collaborate & coordinate: work with an interdisciplinary team, coordinate with clients, review shop drawings, respond to RFIs.
• Drive quality: perform complex calculations, simulations, and documentation while delivering on schedule and within budget.
• Mentor & guide: support senior engineers, help guide junior staff, participate in QA/QC reviews.

I'm working with a multi-discipline engineering firm in Raleigh, NC, to find a talented Electrical Engineer to join their growing team!

What You’ll Do:

• Lead Design & Implementation: Independently execute engineering tasks and lead the MEP-T design for small-to-medium-sized projects under minimal supervision.
• Collaborate & Coordinate: Work alongside an interdisciplinary team of experts, coordinating with clients, reviewing shop drawings, and responding to RFIs.
• Drive Quality: Perform complex calculations, simulations, and technical documentation while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Mentor & Guide: Support senior engineers, help guide junior staff, and participate in internal QA/QC reviews.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Licensure: Professional licensure or certification preferred (EIT, PE, CPD, FPE, RCDD, etc.).
• Experience: 4+ years of engineering experience within the AEC industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Revit and industry-specific modeling/calculation software, with a strong grasp of building codes and design standards.
