At Light & Wonder, it’s all about the games, and our Gaming team builds cutting-edge technology, products, and content for the most iconic casinos and operators across the globe.Position SummaryThe person in this position performs professional work in research, development, design, testing, analysis, production, construction, maintenance, and operation or electrical systems employed in company product lines.Essential Job FunctionsDesigns new electronic circuit board assemblies based on required specifications using proper engineering techniquesTroubleshooting of designs using test equipment and proper analysis techniquesWorks with other engineers to solve technical problems that exist with current manufacturing products; research alternate component possibilities to assist with procurement issues that may ariseCreates firmware for electrical hardware that has been designed by BallyPerforms most assignments independently, within scope of defined program, with direction from senior level engineersTraining and/or Experience2 to 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering design, analysis and testingExperience in design and analysis of digital and microprocessor-based circuitsKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of electrical engineering theory, principles and proceduresMust have working knowledge with modern testing equipment, e.g. oscilloscopes, digital analyzers, multi-meters, function generators, and spectrum analyzersAbility to ensure proper PCB layout design and must be familiar with proper use of power/ground planes, split planes, EMI, impedance matching, transmission line affects, etc.Experience in developing digital circuitry including microprocessor architecture and programmable logic for various requirementsExperience in designing analog circuitry including linear/LDO voltage regulators, switching regulators and a fundamental understanding of transistor design and analog circuit analysisMust have good computer skills and knowledgeEducation:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or significant equivalent experienceQualificationsPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
