Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an electrical engineer to provide technical and design consulting for Water Division projects in the United States. The role involves serving as the primary electrical contact for clients and supporting planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities.

The candidate will perform electrical design and coordination for power distribution, lighting, communication, and control systems, using Autodesk and Bentley CAD software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
• Strong background in water-wastewater industry.
• Experience with electrical power distribution, controls, lighting, and communications.
• Proficiency with CAD software including Autodesk and Bentley products.
• Experience performing design calculations and establishing design criteria.
• Experience with ETAP, SKM Power Tools, or other power system analysis software.
• Ability to travel as required to meet project needs.

• Provide engineering services during construction and review equipment submittals.
• Respond to contractor RFIs and conduct field inspections to ensure safety compliance.
• Perform electrical system analysis using ETAP, SKM, and other tools.
• Travel as required to meet project needs.
