Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an entry‑level Electrical Engineer to contribute to municipal water and wastewater projects in Missouri. You will assist in defining design criteria, performing detailed calculations, and creating one-line diagrams, control schematics, plans, and specs for construction.

You will also help prepare cost estimates, conduct code reviews, and participate in field investigations. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, document drafting, and responding to RFIs are key aspects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field required.
• 0–3 years of experience in electrical design
• .Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Professional Engineer License preferred when obtainable.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience

• Working to obtain or obtained Professional Engineer License (preferred)
• Experience in water/wastewater electrical engineering design (preferred)
• Experience with power and standby power systems, lighting, and motor control systems design (preferred)
• Knowledge of instrumentation, PLC controls, and SCADA network architecture (preferred)
• Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations (preferred)
