We’re working with a well-established engineering firm that has built a culture around collaboration, professional growth, flexibility, and treating employees like people—not numbers.

They’re looking for a self-motivated Electrical Engineer with 5–7 years of experience to join their multidisciplinary team.

What You’ll Be Working On

You’ll have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, rather than being limited to one project type. Experience with the following markets is particularly valuable:

  • Federal and government projects
  • Low-, medium-, and high-voltage electrical systems
  • Low-voltage, security, and specialized electrical systems

You’ll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, developing electrical systems and construction documents from initial concept through completion.

  • Design and coordinate electrical systems for a variety of building types.
  • Work directly with architects, owners, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Perform power system analysis and electrical calculations.
  • Conduct site visits and provide construction support.
  • Work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Help train and mentor other team members.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives when needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • 5+ years of electrical engineering design and construction experience in the AEC industry.
  • EIT registration required.
  • PE license preferred.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
  • Experience with power system analysis software such as ETAP, EasyPower, or SKM.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Ability to travel periodically for project site visits.
Bonus experience:

Lighting software such as AGI or Visual Lighting, medium/high-voltage systems, low-voltage design, and federal projects.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

This firm has intentionally built a culture where talented engineers can do challenging work without sacrificing their quality of life.

Employees describe the environment as feeling like working with a close-knit group of friends while still having the resources, benefits, and opportunities of a larger engineering firm.

You’ll find:
  • A collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Flexible PTO and family-friendly policies
  • A strong focus on work-life balance
  • Individualized professional and technical development
  • Opportunities to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
  • A multidisciplinary team environment
  • Opportunities to work on meaningful and technically diverse projects
  • A culture that encourages employees to contribute ideas and develop their careers
  • Comprehensive benefits and long-term career opportunities
The Bottom Line

If you're open to hearing more, I'd be happy to share additional details and see if it aligns with what you're looking for in your next move.
