RIMEPRO INC. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for commercial and educational projects and to produce high-quality construction documents. The role includes project coordination, mentoring junior staff, and supporting projects from concept to construction.

The candidate will design lighting, power, fire alarm, emergency power, and technology systems, perform calculations, and prepare specifications while coordinating with clients and project teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • EIT (P.E. License preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an MEP consulting environment.
  • 3+ years of overall electrical engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
  • Thorough understanding of applicable building codes.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems for assigned projects, including lighting, power, fire alarm, emergency power, and technology systems.

  • Review and respond to RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, addenda, and other construction documents.

  • Mentor and supervise EITs, designers, and interns.
  • Participate in client meetings and coordinate with internal and external project teams.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and client standards.
  • Stay current on industry technologies, codes, and engineering best practices.
  • Support business development efforts through client interactions and industry events as needed.
