Role Description

The Electrical Engineer will work on-site in Houston, TX in a full-time capacity, supporting the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for industrial and energy infrastructure projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing electrical design drawings and specifications, performing power systems and power distribution calculations, and supporting project teams through technical reviews and field coordination. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers and construction personnel, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements, and assisting with commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical installations. The Electrical Engineer will also participate in project planning, provide input on cost and schedule estimates, and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices and safety performance.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in Electricity and Electrical Engineering, with experience applying these principles in industrial or energy-related projects.
• Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design, including creating drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for infrastructure and facility applications.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Power Systems and Power Distribution, including load analysis, equipment selection, and system protection and coordination.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field; professional licensure (EIT/PE) in Texas or eligibility for licensure is beneficial.
• Experience with relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE), and familiarity with engineering design software and CAD tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a field-oriented, construction-focused environment.
• Prior experience in oil & gas, pipeline, power, or heavy industrial projects, and a demonstrated commitment to safety and quality are highly desirable.
