Job summary

Jobot in Green Bay, WI is seeking an experienced electrical designer to join our collaborative team. You will work with engineers and designers to assess building systems, develop electrical designs, and ensure projects meet client expectations and code requirements.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in electrical design for healthcare, education, civic or commercial buildings, with Revit, BIM software, and Bluebeam experience.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of electrical design experience in healthcare, education, civic, or commercial buildings.
  • Experience with Revit, BIM software, and Bluebeam preferred.
  • DES credential or PE license; LEED accreditation is a plus.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work with engineers and guide designers and drafters.
  • Assess existing building systems and write reports with recommendations.
  • Develop scope documents and present electrical solutions to clients and teams.
  • Perform calculations for lighting, power, and equipment sizing.
  • Use BIM tools to design and lay out electrical systems.
  • Apply sustainability strategies and ensure code compliance.
  • Estimate construction costs and coordinate with consultants and contractors.
  • Conduct field observations and research new technologies.

Job Details
