The role involves documenting existing electrical systems, supporting power distribution design, and reviewing drawings. Occasional travel to client sites up to 25% is expected to complete field verifications and studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience designing electrical power distribution.
• Experience in mission-critical, telecommunications, or data center environments.
• Local to or able to work on-site in Columbus, Ohio.
• Ability to travel nationally as needed, potentially up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical construction documents, including drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Develop and modify electrical engineering/design plans using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Support power distribution system design for data center, industrial, commercial, and other facility projects.
• Review and mark up engineering drawings and electrical design plans.
• Travel to client sites to review, inspect, and document existing electrical equipment and systems.
• Enter field information into applicable power-system analysis software and assist with engineering studies.

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for developing and modifying electrical design plans, drawings, and specifications while working within a consulting engineering environment. Depending on experience, this individual may also support electrical power studies by visiting client sites, documenting existing electrical systems and equipment, and using power-system analysis software to evaluate the system.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
• Prior experience within mission-critical, telecommunications, or data center environments
• Experience developing, designing, or marking up engineering plans and construction documents
• Experience with Revit
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Experience with electrical power distribution design
• Local to or able to work on-site in Columbus, Ohio
• Ability to travel nationally as needed, potentially up to 25%
