Job summary

Engtal is seeking an Electrical Designer to contribute to building-system design from concept to construction in a Colorado Springs setting. You will perform electrical calculations, select equipment, and produce Revit/AutoCAD documentation for varied projects.

Ideal candidates have an engineering degree (EIT or PE valued) and can communicate effectively with clients and teams. Relocation to the Colorado Springs area is welcomed as the firm grows along Colorado’s Front Range.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an early-stage MEP engineering consultancy where you’ll have a genuine voice, direct access to leadership, and the chance to help shape the company as it continues to establish itself across Colorado’s Front Range.

The firm supports a diverse mix of commercial, healthcare, institutional, residential, and industrial projects for architects, contractors, developers, municipalities, and federal agencies.

In this role, you’ll contribute to electrical building-system design from early concepts through construction, including:

• Electrical calculations and equipment selection


• Revit and AutoCAD documentation


• Code-compliant construction drawings and specifications


• Multidisciplinary project coordination


• Construction administration and field observation support

They’re looking for someone with experience designing electrical systems for buildings who can take ownership of their work and communicate effectively with clients and project teams. An engineering degree, EIT, or PE is valued, but experienced Electrical Designers without a degree will also be considered.

This is ideal for someone who wants more influence than they would have within a large corporate firm. You’ll work closely with leadership, contribute across the full project lifecycle, and have the opportunity to grow alongside the business from an early stage.
