Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer passionate about power systems and fault detection? IG is hiring a Distribution Asset Health Engineer to support our client's cutting-edge Early Fault Detection (EFD) sensor program.

Location: Northern CA, some field visits in Bay Area or Sacramento

Experience: 3–5 years

What You’ll Bring

• 3–5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
• Solid background in power engineering and distribution system design
• Strong understanding of distribution assets, fault analysis, and electrical current modeling
• Familiarity with switches, fuses, transformers, voltage systems, and fault calculations

What You’ll Do

• Monitor and analyze alerts from line sensors on distribution systems
• Use sensor data and electrical circuit models to pinpoint fault locations
• Issue investigation tags for field teams and support data flow into Foundry
• Collaborate with Analysts and cross-functional teams to improve asset health insights
