Job summary

Innova Solutions is hiring an Electrical Engineer for a 12+ month onsite role in Berkeley, MO. You will design hardware architectures for test stations and work with suppliers on fabrication and integration across systems.

Candidates should have a B.Sc. in engineering, math, or physics and be eligible for US DoD security clearance. Prior aerospace / test team experience and familiarity with Siemens tools and lab equipment are preferred.

Job description

A client of Innova is immediately hiring for an Electrical Engineer Position type: Full-time, Contract Duration: 12+ Months Location: Berkeley, MO - Onsite.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will:

Position Responsibilities:

• Utilize engineering processes, methodologies, and tools to create and refine hardware designs, specifications, and architectures for various test stations and systems, ensuring alignment with program requirements and objectives
• Analyze customer and system requirements to develop basic architectural approaches and detailed specifications needed
• Develop high-level and detailed designs consistent with these requirements and specifications
• Support supplier management with make/buy recommendations and other technical services such as fabrication
• Integrate products for new systems as well as upgrades to existing equipment in STL and at remote locations
• Validate designs through various methods of analysis, peer review, standalone testing
• Provide engineering support to stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of these and existing System Integration Lab (SIL) products

Basic Qualifications:

• B.Sc. Degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, mathematics, or physics.
• The ability to obtain a US Department of Defense security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.Sc. Degree from an accredited course of study in Electrical Engineering.
• Active DOD Security Clearance.
• Experience in the Aerospace Industry.
• Experience within a design/build or test team.
• Experience with laboratory test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.).
• Experience with hardware integration and testing.
• Experience in working with and developing hardware system of systems architectures.
• Experience with Cable Harness designs.
• Experience with Siemen's toolset (Logic Designer, etc.).

Pay Range and Benefits:

Pay Range*: $40-/hr to $58/hr *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
