Job summary

Innova Solutions in Everett, WA is seeking an Electrical Design & Analysis Engineer for a 6-month contract onsite. You will support the full product lifecycle, develop and document electrical system requirements, design hardware, software, and interfaces, and validate designs through testing and field support.

You will work with suppliers, solve fielded issues, and research new technologies. Requirements include a STEM degree and 3+ years in aerospace/defense hardware design, plus lab

Position type: Full-time, Contract

Duration: 6 Months with possible extension

Location: Everett, WA -Onsite

As an Electrical Design & Analysis Engineer, you will:

• Support for the entire product lifecycle, including requirements analysis, systems design, lab design/specification, integration testing, flight test, technical sub-contractor management, field support, and customer interactions.
• Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Designs hardware, software, and interface specifications.
• Tests validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Assist in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
• Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
• Research specific technology advances potential application to company business needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Any Advance Degree in STEM Classification (Technology, Engineering, Computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry).
• 3+ years' experience with hardware or Electrical/Electronic Systems Design in Aerospace/Defense field.
• Working Knowledge in subsystem design, requirement analysis/allocation.
• Practical experience with lab equipment for hardware development, troubleshooting, and data capture.

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience with LRU development, test, and qualification.
• Military aircraft program experience.
• MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC-429 and Ethernet architecture and knowledge.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Strong leadership, team building, and mentoring skills.

Pay Range and Benefits:

Pay Range*: $65/hr to $75/hr *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
