Job summary

Qualus is seeking an Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience in our Engineering department by supporting electrical design packages, preparing drawings with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, and learning QC processes alongside senior engineers.

This in-office internship offers mentorship, project documentation support, and exposure to various project phases while applying coursework in a professional setting.

Qualifications

• Full-time student in an ABET-accredited program pursuing BS/BE degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation

Responsibilities

• Create and edit drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Learn and assist with quality checks (QC) on electrical drawings under guidance of senior engineers.
• Support project documentation and general office tasks.
• Apply company processes, procedures, and client standards in project work.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and gain exposure to a variety of project phases.
• Provide administrative support as needed.
