Job summary

Qualus is seeking an Engineering Intern to support our engineering teams on real-world projects. You will assist in preparing electrical design packages, develop drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, and learn the QC process alongside senior engineers. This in-office internship gives students the chance to apply coursework and gain mentorship.

This internship supports full-time or part-time scheduling; interns must be in-office at a Qualus location.

Qualifications

• Full-time student in ABET-accredited program pursuing BS/BE degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Learn and assist with quality checks (QC) on electrical drawings under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support project documentation and general office tasks.
• Apply company processes, procedures, and client standards in project work.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and gain exposure to a variety of project phases.
• Provide administrative support as needed.
