Job summary

Nox Group in the United States seeks an experienced Energy Marshal to oversee LOTO compliance on construction projects, ensuring live systems are safely energized and coordinated between construction, commissioning, operations, and safety teams.

The role requires at least five years in electrical construction, a Journeyman Electrician license, NFPA 70E training, OSHA 30, and strong communication. Travel to job sites and strict safety adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electrical construction experience.
• Licensed Journeyman Electrician.
• Experience with LOTO policies and energy isolation.
• Understanding of one-line diagrams and schematics.
• Ability to review equipment submittals and participate in safety programs.
• OSHA 30 and NFPA 70E trained; strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Energization Status and LOTO programs.
• Coordinate all energization events: temporary power, first-time energization, etc.
• Lead or participate in energization and SIMOPS meetings.
• Ensure signage, barricades, and safe work practices around live systems.
• Maintain a master energization tracker.
• Approve or stop activities involving live systems when unsafe.
• Collaborate with GC safety and Owner safety teams.
• Review CMOP/FTE and LOTO point identification.
• Review LOTO requests for scope adherence.
• Conduct regular audits of the LOTO log and coordinate with safety leads.
• Order LOTO supplies (locks, tags, hasps, etc.).
