Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Energy Marshal to oversee electrical safety and energization on large-scale mission-critical construction projects. You will review energization plans, lead LOTO activities, and ensure NFPA 70E/OSHA compliance across site teams.

Remote work with travel is available, with OT hours as required. The role focuses on safe operations, documentation, and collaboration with contractors, design teams, and project leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience as Energy Marshal or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E and OSHA regulations.
• Experience with data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Ability to coordinate across construction, commissioning and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical safety and energization activities for large-scale mission-critical construction projects.
• Review, develop, and approve energization plans and energy isolation procedures.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 70E, OSHA, and site-specific safety requirements.
• Lead LOTO planning and execution activities.
• Conduct field inspections, safety audits, and electrical hazard assessments.
• Monitor startup, testing, commissioning, and turnover activities for safe operation.
• Coordinate with contractors, commissioning agents, design teams, and project leadership.
