Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Distribution EIT/Coordinator in North Dakota to join our employee-owned team. You will conduct analyses to develop power-related design options, prepare project deliverables, and collaborate with engineers and BIM specialists.

You will work on independent small projects or assist senior engineers on larger initiatives, while supporting construction inspection activities. A Bachelor's in Engineering and an EIT certificate are preferred; MS Office proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses to develop power-related design options or recommendations, and assist in the preparation of project deliverables (examples include engineering drawing packages, cost estimates, and project specifications)
• Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures
• Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables.
• Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers / professionals on larger projects
• Work with assistance from Project Engineers, other Engineers In-Training (EITs), Designers, or BIM Specialists as needed
• Support on construction inspection/administration activities
• Perform other duties as needed
