Job summary

HDR Engineering seeks an Electrical Distribution Project Manager/Team Lead to join our Midwest Power Delivery team. Lead distribution projects, mentor engineers, and coordinate with utilities and clients to deliver high-quality power solutions.

Applicants should have a PE license, 7+ years of distribution design and project management experience, and a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. This full-time role offers growth in an employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and PE license required.
• 7+ years of related experience in distribution design and project management.
• Experience leading teams and managing budgets and scope.
• Strong client relations and business development skills.
• Experience with data center and renewables projects is a plus.
• Ability to develop technical papers or present at conferences.

Responsibilities

• Lead distribution projects through full life cycle and budget control.
• Mentor engineers, EITs, designers and technicians; manage project teams.
• Interact with utilities, developers and clients to meet objectives.
• Oversee QA/QC in line with HDR standards and QMS requirements.
• Coordinate hiring plans and staff development across the region.
• Support business development and proposal activities.
