Job summary

The City of Richland is seeking an Electrical Distribution Engineer II to design and manage complex distribution projects for the electric utility. Work includes setting policies and goals under the Chief Electrical Engineer's direction.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in electrical engineering and 6+ years in utilities engineering, with a WA PE license and a valid driver’s license. AutoCAD experience is desirable for design reviews and diagrams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Six (6) or more years' experience in electrical utilities engineering, broadband design, planning and project administration.
• Valid driver’s license and Washington State Professional Electrical Engineer’s license upon hire and maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage major, complex engineering projects involved in the development of distribution systems for the electric utility.
• Set policies and goals under the direction of the Chief Electrical Engineer.
