MSP Plumbing Heating Air in Woodbury, MN is hiring a Full-time Electrical Dispatcher to own the daily electrical board, assign calls, sequence the day, and adjust as work evolves.

You will match technicians to jobs by skill and location, pull permits, manage schedules, and keep ServiceTitan records accurate so billing and follow-up run smoothly. We value a calm, clear communicator who can handle high-volume calls in a locally owned culture.

Formación

• Dispatch experience communicating with customers and technicians.
• ServiceTitan experience is strongly preferred.
• Must stay calm under pressure with a full board and ringing phone.
• Excellent organization to manage day and week on the screen.

Responsabilidades

• Build and run the daily electrical board - assign calls, sequence the day, adjust as it changes.
• Match the technician to the job by skill, licensing, location and customer.
• Keep technicians moving and inform customers when timing shifts.
• Pull electrical permits ahead of the crew and follow up with the city until issued.
• Draft the on-call and weekend schedule for the Electrical Service Manager.
• Coordinate with other dispatchers when coverage is needed across departments.
• Maintain accurate job records in ServiceTitan for billing and follow-up.
• Flag capacity problems early to prevent a lost week.

Run the Board for a Growing Electrical Department

A new seat, because electrical is outgrowing the old one.

Electrical work is dispatched off the plumbing board today. The department is growing past what that can carry, so we are creating a dedicated Electrical Dispatcher - one person who owns the electrical board, the technicians' days, and the permits that go with them.

You would be building this seat, not inheriting someone else’s version of it. MSP has been family-owned since 1918 and is approaching fourth generation ownership.

Who We’re Looking For

Dispatch is a people job as much as a scheduling job. You are talking to customers having a bad day and technicians having a long one, often at the same time.

• Dispatch, scheduling or high-volume customer service experience
• ServiceTitan experience strongly preferred
• Calm under pressure - a full board and a ringing phone do not rattle you
• Organized enough to hold a day in your head and a week on the screen
• A clear communicator with technicians, customers and other departments
• Comfortable making a call and standing behind it
• Able to pass a background and drug test
• High school diploma or equivalent

What You’ll Do

When the board runs well, technicians work and customers get taken care of. That is this job.

• Build and run the daily electrical board - assigning calls, sequencing the day, and adjusting as it changes
• Match the technician to the job: skill, licensing, location and the customer in front of them
• Keep technicians moving and keep customers informed when timing shifts
• Pull electrical permits ahead of the crew and follow up with the city until they are issued
• Draft the on-call and weekend schedule for the Electrical Service Manager to finalize
• Work with the other dispatchers when a day needs coverage across departments
• Keep the job record clean in ServiceTitan so billing and follow-up actually work
• Flag capacity problems early - before the week is already lost
