Job summary

MSP Plumbing Heating Air is a locally owned Twin Cities company that has served customers since 1918. We are launching an Entry Level Runner development program designed to build a real career in the trades for reliable people who want to grow.

There is no trade experience required for this role. You will start by delivering parts, stocking materials, and supporting technicians, with a clear path forward into the trades as you develop. We value family, teamwork, and progress for all.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual throughout shifts.
• Strong work ethic with pride in doing things right.
• Eager to ask questions, seek feedback, and grow in the trades.
• Capable of pushing/pulling up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts and materials to job sites and field technicians.
• Warehouse duties: organize, stock, and stage material; assist with shop projects.
• Pickup parts from suppliers and vendors.
• Assist with van build-outs: prep and stock service vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles (interior and exterior).
• Assist with vehicle safety inspections and routine maintenance.
• Keep facilities tidy; snow/ice removal in winter, lawn and landscape upkeep in summer.
• Communicate clearly with Dispatch.

  What You’ll Do

  When a technician has the right parts at the right time, they can take care of our customers. You are a direct part of making that happen.

• Deliver parts and materials to job sites and field technicians
• Warehouse work - organizing, staging and stocking material, plus projects around the shop
• Part pick-ups from suppliers and vendors
• Van build-outs - prepping and stocking service vehicles
• Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles inside and out
• Assist with vehicle safety inspections and basic maintenance
• Keep our building and grounds in shape - snow and ice removal in winter, lawn and landscape upkeep in summer, trash and recycling year round
• Communicate clearly with Dispatch
