Job summary

Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, MS, seeks a senior Electrical Detail Design leader to guide major system components and support manufacturing operations with rigorous adherence to standards and cost targets.

You will oversee 3D/2D arrangements for Armament, Combat Systems, Cableway, and Cable Routing, ensuring seamless cross-disciplinary integration while managing scheduling and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design or equivalent.
• Combination of education and experience in lieu of degree may be acceptable per policy: High school diploma with 10 years or Associate's Degree with 8 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Designs major components or major portions of a functional system to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.
• Oversees and coordinates 3D/2D arrangements, Armament, Combat Systems, Cableway, and Cable Routing outputs across disciplines to ensure efficient integration and adherence to standards.
• Provides direct managerial leadership for Electrical Detail Design personnel, including scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring high-quality engineering products.
