GP Reeves, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Designer to design and create control systems for dispensing equipment.

The role focuses on electrical design for control panels, selecting appropriate hardware, and producing all relevant documentation within budget constraints. Responsibilities include designing control panels, creating layout drawings, managing project budgets and procurement for the controls portion, and writing operation descriptions for PLC-based projects.

Competenze

• Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• 3+ years experience with PLCs, HMI, robot systems, AutoCAD, motion control, pneumatics/hydraulics or vision systems.
• Proficient with PC software including MS Office.
• Proficient in electrical CAD to create control device layouts and panel drawings.
• Strong testing ability and understanding of panel design and power consumption.

Mansioni

• Design electrical systems and documentation for control panels.
• Create panel layout drawings for quoting and construction.
• Manage controls project budgets, schedules, and procurement.
• Write operation/functional specifications for PLC projects.
• Ensure designs meet customer and GP Reeves specifications.
• Handle support calls and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Travel up to 10% for installation support or service.
