Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Eng or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience with PLCs, HMI, Robot, AutoCAD, Motion Control, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, and/or Vision Systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Proficient in electrical CAD for control device layouts and control panels drawings.
• Strong electrical testing ability.
• Understanding of panel design, back panel layouts, power consumption and hardware sizing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the electrical design and documentation.
• Design of control panels, creating panel layout drawings for quoting and/or constructing purposes.
• Perform project management functions (budget, schedule, procurement) for the controls portion of the projects. Assist Project Manager with overall project schedule and strictly adhere to all milestone dates.
• Write Descriptions of Operation / Functional Specification for projects using PLC controls.
• Ensure equipment is designed to GP Reeves build specifications using standard techniques and approaches.
• Handle support calls.
• Communicate with internal groups and external customers and suppliers.
• Overtime may be necessary based on customer orders including weekdays, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Participate in all company functions and meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
