Job summary

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with design standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with and utilization of department design and drafting standards.
• Develop conceptual layouts and studies to determine simple, efficient approaches.
• Assist in producing estimate level preliminary designs and material take-offs.
• Assist in producing detailed design calculations, spreadsheets, reports, drawings and sketches.
• Assist engineers and designers in resolving routine layout and detailing problems.
