Job summary

CESO, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Staff Designer II in Overland Park, KS. You will support senior staff with basic engineering tasks, performing design calculations, drafting, and coordination across teams to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

The role requires foundational knowledge in electrical/architectural design, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. A hybrid work schedule and comprehensive benefits accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• ABET‑accredited Electrical or Architectural Engineering degree or 5+ years of relevant design experience
• FE and EIT certification preferred
• Proficiency in engineering design, codes and standards

Responsibilities

• Communicate design requirements with internal/external teams to determine project scope and feasibility.
• Develop design approaches with input from senior staff.
• Model lighting and power systems using Revit, AutoCAD, and related tools.
• Create system layouts, schematics, and schedules.
• Assist project managers with coordination between architects, contractors, and engineers.
