Job summary

Rosendin in Dallas seeks a mid-level Designer II to develop marked drawings, model development, and layouts for power, lighting, and auxiliary drawings. You will support energy code calculations, detailing, and documentation to define intent on drawings under supervision.

The role requires coordinating with Sr. Designers and engineers, reviewing manufacturer submittals, and laying out electrical rooms with clearances and minimal oversight.

Qualifications

• Some college or technical training is acceptable.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Designer.
• Combination of education, training, and relevant experience may qualify.

Responsibilities

• Assemble a complete symbols list and project notes from the REI Standard relevant to the project.
• Mark up branch circuit lighting and power plans and fill in panel board schedules with moderate oversight.
• Perform Energy Code calculations, documentation, and local jurisdiction energy requirements with little supervision.
• Apply Rosendin standards for wire sizing, transformer feeders, and protection from published schedules.
• Calculate power loads, size feeders, and determine the estimated demand load summary under supervision.
