Job summary

Ever-Green Energy in Saint Paul, Minnesota, is seeking an Electrical Designer II to provide electrical and mechanical design services for central plant and building systems. Under supervision, you will develop BIM/CAD drawings, perform power system studies, and contribute to project deliverables for internal and external clients.

The role requires 3–5 years of design experience, an AS degree in Electrical/Mechanical Tech, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SKM Power Tools.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of electrical or mechanical design experience.
• Experience creating 3D models and designs using Revit or similar software.
• Strong proficiency with Autodesk tools for engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with SKM Power Tools for electrical modeling.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical or mechanical design for central plant and building systems.
• Prepare BIM/CAD drawings for new construction and maintenance projects.
• Assist in bid documents and project deliverables.
• Support Revit model setup, data, and schedules.
• Conduct electrical power system studies with guidance from engineers.
• Assist with design work under supervision and in a collaborative SDG team.
