Job summary

Boutique Recruiting seeks an Electrical Designer for a hybrid role creating comprehensive electrical designs in Revit and AutoCAD. You will manage multiple clients, coordinate with architects, and lead site visits while growing toward project management and leadership within the firm.

The position requires 7+ years in MEP electrical design for US projects, PE/FE trajectory, and a proactive production design approach. Office day every Wednesday with potential travel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical, lighting, and fire alarm design for commercial buildings at an MEP firm.
• Strong, hands-on proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Willingness to perform production design work, not only management/QC.
• Experience in a U.S. engineering office designing MEP systems for buildings.
• Stable work history with long tenures at prior firms.
• Must be in the office every Wednesday and attend site visits.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical designs in Revit and AutoCAD for power, lighting, and fire alarm systems in commercial buildings.
• Manage 3–4 clients at a time with a strong degree of independence.
• Deliver work across retail, industrial, churches, schools, government, and multifamily projects.
• Coordinate with architects and clients, meeting directly with clients within about six months.
