Job summary

Apogee Consulting Group is seeking an Electrical Designer to design and coordinate building electrical systems, prepare construction drawings, and support project delivery from concept through construction. The ideal candidate has strong Revit skills, knowledge of NEC/NFPA standards, and experience with power/lighting and low‑voltage systems.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least four years of related experience, FE exam progress toward PE licensure, and preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in engineering.
• Minimum four years of progressive electrical and/or technology design experience.
• Passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) and working toward professional licensure (PE) preferred.
• LEED, RCDD, CEM, LC or other professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate building electrical systems, prepare construction drawings, and support project delivery from concept through construction.
• Designs and produces construction drawings for power distribution, lighting layouts and controls, grounding, and low-voltage systems such as fire alarm, nurse call, telecommunications, and security.
• Produces detailed construction plans and schematics via computer aided design software (Revit/AutoCAD).
• Review product data submittals and perform construction period services.
