Job summary

Apogee Consulting Group in Fort Collins, CO seeks an Electrical Designer to design and coordinate building electrical systems, prepare construction drawings, and support project delivery from concept through construction.

This role requires strong knowledge of NEC/NFPA standards, high proficiency in Revit, and collaboration with engineers and other disciplines. A Bachelor's degree and at least four years of electrical design experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in engineering.
• Minimum four years of progressive electrical and/or technology design experience.
• Passed FE and working toward PE; LEED, RCDD, CEM, LC or similar certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist electrical engineers and designers in developing building electrical and technology system designs.
• Design and produce construction drawings for power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low‑voltage systems.
• Create detailed construction plans and schematics using computer aided design tools.
• Apply NEC and NFPA standards knowledge to designs.
• Perform field investigations and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Maintain high Rev it proficiency and review product data submittals.
