Job summary

Accelera seeks an experienced Electrical Designer to develop electrical systems for manufacturing environments, including robotics, material handling, and conveyor equipment. The role centers on wiring documentation, control panel layouts, and power calculations.

You will integrate PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs, select components, ensure compliance with industry codes, and collaborate with panel builders, contractors, and clients to deliver efficient, reliable systems on time.

Qualifications

• Advanced skills in Autodesk Inventor and/or AutoCAD Electrical.
• 3–5 years of experience in control systems electrical design.
• At least 2 years of specialized experience designing electrical systems for robotics or conveyor-based material handling.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed documentation for machine wiring and control panel layouts.
• Execute necessary power engineering computations.
• Ensure all system designs align with relevant industry codes and standards.
• Integrate PLCs, VFDs, and HMI components into system architectures.
• Identify and procure the ideal electrical components and hardware for specific applications.
• Collaborate across disciplines with contractors and external clients to ensure project success.
• Foster strong professional partnerships with our internal staff, panel builders, and clients to drive project efficiency.
• Contribute to a supportive and professional atmosphere for all team members.
