Job summary

AMG, Inc. in Dayton, OH seeks an Electrical Designer to support engineering projects and AMG Custom Controls.

This salaried role offers hands-on electrical design exposure in both design and control panel applications at our Dayton headquarters. You will develop schematics and wiring diagrams using Revit, support projects through fabrication and installation, and collaborate with engineers, designers and fabricators to deliver buildable solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Revit is required.
• Experience with electrical design, wiring, cables and circuits.
• Working knowledge of PLCs and HMIs.
• Control panel design or fabrication experience is highly desired.
• 2-year degree in electrical design/engineering technology or a 4-year degree with design experience.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs, schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules and layouts.
• Create and modify electrical drawings using Revit.
• Support projects from design through fabrication and installation.
• Assist with PLC and HMI related design and documentation.
• Support control panel design and fabrication through AMG Custom Controls.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, fabricators and project teams to deliver buildable solutions.
