Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. seeks an Electrical Designer to support modular manufacturing projects, performing electrical, instrumentation and controls design for capital programs.

You will develop Revit models, single-line diagrams, and panel schedules, coordinating with engineering and fabrication teams to ensure safe operations and compliance. The role requires a bachelor or associate degree in electrical fields and 5+ years of related design or manufacturing experience, with knowledge of

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Electrical, Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent science degree.
• 5+ years of related experience in a Design Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering role.
• 5+ years of Electrical, Instrumentation or Controls installation experience
• Advanced knowledge of technical standards and guidelines (API, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls Design for Capital Projects.
• Create client issue drawings and detailed fabrication drawings using Revit.
• Develop electrical Revit families and custom electrical components.
• Prepare single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, interconnection schedules, and panel schedules.
• Design and coordinate MCCs, switchboards, panelboards, PDUs, CDUs, PLC systems, and fire alarm systems
• Supporting Engineering and Construction Contractors on an as needed basis.
• Supporting Operations and Maintenance as a technical resource when needed.
