Job summary

EXP is seeking an Electrical Designer/Engineer to join the Mission Critical team based in Atlanta, Georgia (Sandy Springs Office).

You will produce construction documents from design through bidding, manage drawing setup and project coordination with a multi-disciplinary team, and ensure projects stay on budget and schedule. A BS in Electrical Engineering, 4+ years of experience, EIT on track to PE, strong AutoCAD and Revit skills, and familiarity with arc-flash tools are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited university.
• 4+ years of experience in electrical design.
• EIT on track to become a PE.
• Strong AutoCAD experience.
• Revit experience is a plus.
• Experience with Arc Flash Studies tools (EasyPower or SKM).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for production of construction documents from initial design to bidding, under the supervision of a senior engineer.
• Responsible for drawing setup and design documentation.
• Responsible for oversight of production team on specific projects.
• Lead multi-disciplinary team for electrically focused project.
• Perform coordination with other disciplines on all projects.
• Perform projects within established project budgets and schedules.
