Job summary

Michaud Cooley Erickson in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking an entry-level Designer/Engineer in Training to learn the foundational electrical system design under the direction of the Project Manager.

You will develop CAD skills, participate in schematic design, room sizing, and equipment sizing calculations, and contribute to construction documents as part of a collaborative project team. Hybrid flexibility is offered.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
• Proficient with current technology (hardware and software).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of design and CAD applications.
• Assist in drafting Construction Documents and calculations.
• Research equipment selections and prepare schedules.
• Coordinate with project team on design development and space requirements.
